DMCA and Copyright
YTMP3 respects the rights of content owners. We do not host a library of music or video, and we do not upload anyone's content. The tool converts a video that a user supplies a link to, and any short lived copy of a converted file is deleted automatically. Even so, if content you own has been converted through this service and you want it addressed, we will act on a valid request.
Sending a notice
Email [email protected] with the subject "DMCA Notice" and include the following so we can identify and act on it:
- Your name and contact details, and the rights holder you represent.
- A description of the copyrighted work and the exact video link or file in question.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do next
We review valid notices promptly and remove or block access to the material as required. Since converted files are already deleted automatically after a short time, most requests come down to preventing a specific video from being converted again, which we can also do.
Counter notice
If you believe something was removed in error, send a counter notice to the same address with an explanation and your contact details, and we will review it.
