YTMP3

Privacy Policy

YTMP3 is designed to know as little about you as it can. There is no account to create, and we never ask for your name, email, or any personal detail to convert a video. This page sets out the little we do handle and why.

What we do not keep

There are no user accounts, so there is no profile, no password, and no personal history of your conversions. We do not sell data, because we do not collect the kind of data there would be to sell.

What we handle to run the site

As with any website, our servers record basic technical logs when a request comes in, such as the time and a general network address. These help us keep the service running, prevent abuse, and fix faults. They are not used to build a profile of you.

To keep automated bots from overwhelming the converter, we use an invisible challenge from Cloudflare Turnstile. In normal use it runs quietly in the background without asking you to solve anything. Cloudflare handles this on our behalf under its own privacy terms.

What lives in your browser

A little information is stored in your own browser rather than on our servers, such as your light or dark theme choice and a simple count of downloads used only to occasionally show an optional support message. You can clear it any time in your browser settings, and it never leaves your device.

Converted files

A converted file may sit on our servers for a short while so that a repeat request for the same video is fast. It is removed automatically after that period.
